Our art historians will guide you through the current exhibitions and give you exciting background information about the artists and their works. During the summer months, two solo exhibitions and a collection exhibitions are planned:
In Jose Dávila’s (b. 1974) exhibition Memory of a Telluric Movement, alongside selected paintings, a multitude of sculptural works are presented, which the artist combines in installational arrangements while conscientiously engaging with the building’s architectural givens. Statics and dynamics, forces of tension and compression, as well as the labile moment before something falls or rips, are all characteristic aspects of Jose Dávila’s objects and installations.
Furthermore, Museum Haus Konstruktiv presents the largest solo exhibition on the work of Austrian-Swiss artist Elisabeth Wild ever seen in a Swiss museum. It features around two hundred collages that Wild (b. 1922 in Vienna, d. 2020 in Panajachel, Guatemala) created during her last twenty years, until shortly before her death.
New from the Collection is the title of a new exhibition series in which Museum Haus Konstruktiv, at irregular intervals, will show works from its collection that either have been recently acquired, or about which there is news to report.
