Robotic Animation to Infuse Objects with Life

With Léa Pereyre (Industrial Designer), in collaboration with the Robotics Aesthetics & Usability Center (RAUC), ETHZ

Get an introduction to physical animation by crafting a paper form; then puppeteering it to life by using the friendly, open robotic Being Kits, provided at the workshop. Explore the language of crafting life-like expressions (such as shyness, fatigue, anxiety, joy, etc.) by intuitively defining nuanced movement patterns and simple responsive behaviours.

The number of participants is limited. Register via website. Last-minute registrants are welcome if there are still spaces available.
