Guided Tour

Public tour about the current evening sky (in English)

Sat, 11/01/2025, 6pm–7.15pm
Urania-Sternwarte

The demonstrators of the Urania observatory offer a short introduction to astronomy and explain various celestial phenomena in an understandable way. In good weather conditions, you can observe the moon, planets and stars with your own eyes. The atmosphere under the majestic observatory dome and the lectures supported by pictures and animations make a guided tour always worthwhile. The 50 meter high tower provides an impressive view of the city. The tour is suitable for interested children from the age of 9 and takes place in any weather.

The entrance to the observatory opens 30 minutes before the start of the tour, we recommend arriving 20 minutes earlier. Once the tour has started, entry is no longer possible and the ticket expires. Tickets are not refundable or rebookable. A maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased per registration. IDs for the reduced tickets must be presented at the entrance.
