What are shares? How are they traded on stock exchanges? Are we heading toward a cashless future? - The Finance Museum has the answers.
The permanent exhibition shows shares of legendary companies from modern times through the age of industrialisation to the present day. In interactive multimedia installations, you will discover stock exchange trading, the capital market, financial instruments, payment transactions and technical products that demonstrate the still unparalleled innovative power of the financial industry. Our changing special exhibitions highlight selected aspects of the financial centre.
The museum is run by the foundation Collection of Historical Securities. The foundation owns one of the most significant collections of historical securities worldwide with some 10,000 securities from more than 150 countries.
