PANK: I don’t need Graphic Design, I need a little of That Human Touch

The interdisciplinary design studio PANK (Paula Troxler and Kleon Medugorac) works skillfully with graphic design, illustration, animation, music, murals and stage design. The duo’s work stands out for its contrasts: quiet sounds are combined with eye-catching gestures; funny and serious components become a political message; illustrations and digital animations appear together in harmony. In this exhibition conceived for the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, PANK created a multimedia installation with digital and analog elements. Poetic, innovative, provocative, inspiring and humorous, the designers explore questions of value and meaning in today’s world.
