The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is the leading Swiss museum for design and visual communication. The museum reaches a broad national and international audience, at its two sites in the city of Zurich (Ausstellungsstrasse and Toni-Areal) and through its touring exhibitions.

The museum's exhibitions engage with current themes and issues from the various design genres shaping everyday visual life. Its internationally acclaimed collection comprises over half a million objects from the history of design and graphics.

In its listed main building on Ausstellungsstrasse, a key work of modern Swiss architecture, the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich presents the treasures of its internationally important collection as well as temporary exhibitions on various themes shaping everyday visual life. The spacious education studio offers a wide range of workshops, while the café and the Swiss Design Lounge invite visitors to enjoy themselves, bide their time, and experience the museum’s stimulating atmosphere.
