Since the late 1970s, the German artist Wolfgang Laib (*1950 Metzingen) has been developping his own artistic expression. He uses natural resources such as pollen, wax, milk or stone to create reduced, quietly powerful artwork.
As part of the ReCollect! series, Laib’s works enter into a transhistorical dialogue with around 30 pieces from the Collection – from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. They open a new perspective on the Collection of Kunsthaus Zürich.
