An interactive exhibition about the state of the Earth that explains human’s impact on the planet in a way that is understandable, vivid and both serious and playful.
The Earth is a unique planet. Life originated on it. Over thousands of years, humankind existed without leaving a profound mark on the environment. In the meantime, our constantly growing need for space and natural resources is putting pressure on ecosystems around the world.
The exhibition EARTH AT ITS LIMITS explains our role in nature. How is our planet? Which natural processes do we influence? What are the long-term consequences of our actions and how can we shape the future?
The exhibition shows how humans are changing the natural cycles by overexploiting land, oceans and freshwater, as well as by producing pollutants and emissions, and invites visitors to look at the multi-layered topic from different angles.
