In this walk-in workshop, you will explore the art installation Respiratory Encounters by Anthea Oestreicher and immerse yourself in the hidden world of algae, microorganisms, and aquatic plants. Observe how sensors make ecological processes visible in real time and discover how closely your own breath is connected to organisms that produce a large share of the oxygen on Earth.

In conversation with the artist, you will gain insights into how knowledge is created in both art and science, and how perception, experience, and embodiment shape our understanding of the world. An interactive activity invites you to take part yourself: using specially designed tarot cards, you will position yourself within an ecosystem and reflect on your relationship with other living beings.
