The Hermann Haller Studio was established in 1932, based on a design by Hermann Haller (1880–1950), with the involvement of the then city architect Hermann Herter. It is listed in the municipal inventory of historic monuments and houses significant parts of Hermann Haller’s artistic estate. In 1982, the studio and Haller’s artistic estate were donated to the City of Zurich.
During the summer months, the studio is usually open to the public, offering insight into the work of what was once Switzerland’s most renowned sculptor.
